M-Care is a non-profit Michigan organization developed in 1986 by the University of Michigan. The organization was sold in 2006 to the Blue Care Network. Today, M-Care manages health care for over 200,000 members and 1,500 employer groups and has been awarded an Excellence Accreditation for Commercial and Medicaid HMO health plans.
