Kaiser Permanente of Mid-Atlantic States has a choice in two copay plans, $10 Copay Option and $20 Copay Option, for individuals. Under these two plans, members pay no deductibles. Office visits for primary care and optometry eye exams have $10 and $20 copays respectively. Inpatient hospitalization has a $500 copay or a 20% coinsurance respectively. Both plans require a $100 copay on outpatient surgery. Both plans have prescription drugs coverage.

Kaiser Permanente has four deductible plans from which to choose, including the $500 Deductible/20% Plan, which has 20% coinsurance after a $500 deductible is met and the $1,000 Deductible/30% Plan which has 30% coinsurance after the $1,000 deductible is met. Both of these plans have prescription drug coverage. There are two additional options, $750/20% Plan with Rx and $750/20% Plan without Rx. Both of these plans have $750 deductibles with 20% coinsurance. One has prescription drug coverage while the other one does not. All four plans have low copays without meeting deductions for office visits. All four plans cover emergency services, hospitalization, and outpatient surgery.
Kaiser Permanente offers four HSA Plans. HSA plans may entitle members to savings on their taxes. Members contribute pre-tax money to their Health Savings Accounts. They use these Accounts to pay qualified medical expenses. Since any money and accrued interest that is left at the end of a given year is carried over to the next year, members can use their HSA as long term savings plan.
Kaiser Permanente’s HSA plans are the $1,250 Deductible/20% Plan, the $1,750/30% Plan, and the $2,250 Deductible/30% Plan. Coverage includes office visits, emergencies, inpatient hospital services, outpatient surgery, and prescription drugs.
