Colorado United HealthCare members can take advantage of a number of popular plans from Golden Rule Insurance, including:
- Saver 80 – With low premiums, this is an excellent option for individuals/families wanting to pay for hospitalization and surgery. The plan does not cover routine doctor’s visits, diagnostic testing or prescription drugs. Saver 80 does pay 80% of covered expenses once the deductible is met.
- Plan 100 – Covers 100% of covered expenses after the deductible is met; routine office visits, prescription drugs, testing, hospitalization and surgery are all covered. Note that this plan does not require copays for doctor visits.
- Plan 80 – Similar to Plan 100, this plan covers 80% on the first $15,000 of covered expenses.
- Copay Select – After the deductible is met, coverage is 80% of the first $10,000 in covered expenses; office fees, prescription drugs, hospitalization, testing and surgery are also covered. A copay of $25 is required for in-network doctor visits; generic drugs require a $15 copay.
- Copay Saver – After the deductible, 80% of the first $15,000 in expenses is covered, including surgery and hospitalization. Doctor’s office visits require a $35 copay for the first two visits per year (per person); additional office visits are not covered. A prescription discount is provided.
