In all, Blue Cross and Blue Shield serves over four million people throughout the state, providing them access to a variety of comprehensive and affordable insurance options. These choices include: 

• Select Blue Advantage Series III (PPO):There are eight different deductible choices with this plan. Co-insurance is 15%, and children can be covered on an adult policy or through a child-only option. Immunizations are covered until the age of eight. 
• Select Choice/Saver Series III (PPO): A wide range of deductible options are available with this plan; most services require a small co-pay. Wellness visits and preventive service is offered, as well as therapy coverage for developmentally disabled children.
• Select Basic: Well-child and preventive treatment is covered 100% until age seven. In-patient and outpatient coverage is available, and prescription drug coverage is also offered.
• Foundation Hospital Care: This is a limited benefit plan which offers in-patient only health coverage, which can include laboratory and radiology services as well as surgery coverage. 
• Blue Edge Individual HSA: This consumer-driven plan provides adult and child preventive care benefits and is paid for using a tax-advantaged savings account. The cost for this coverage is often credited toward the deductible to a high-deductible health plan, which usually accompanies a Health Savings Account.

In addition, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas offers members an option to enroll in a comprehensive dental insurance, as well as a short-term/temporary policy, SelecTemp.
