- Personal BluePlans 1-4: These plans differ only by how much coverage is offered with each plan. One plan is comprehensive, covering everything from hospitalization to preventive care and prescription drug coverage. Another covers hospitalization but not well-child visits. Most offer dental coverage options, as well.
- Blue Health Fund: This consumer-driven option works alongside a high-deductible health plan to allow members to place money in a special savings account, also known as an HSA. This money is withdrawn when needed for medical care. Each year, the amount remaining in the account is rolled over, so that consumers can build their own "portable" insurance policy.
In addition, BCBS of South Carolina offers discounts on cosmetic dentistry, vision care, and alternative medicine products.
