- Traditional products – members have the flexibility to use a primary care physician for general medical care and referrals to specialists; these include:
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)

- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
- Open Access Plans
- COBRA Services
- Additional products – to enhance members’ health plans, they may also elect to have coverage for:
Great-West Healthcare provides an extensive network of 550,000 providers and more than 4,250 hospitals. Note that members of the Open Access plan need to utilize an in-network Primary Care Provider for their basic health needs and to obtain referrals. Each family member may select a different Primary Care Provider.
Members can also obtain add-on benefits from Great-West, including life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and wellness programs. The Medical Outreach program is available for members with chronic conditions and their Driver’s Ed program provides important educational resources.
